We are pleased to present our joint project with INSTITUT FRAN?AIS — «French focus«. You will see three performances by French theatre companies from Rennes, Tours and La Rochelle, we will introduce the exhibition of theatre posters of France as well as presentation of French theatre festivals. For the first time at creative laboratory «Young critics –future of the theatre» will be French theatre critic Jeremy Engle. EXHIBITION «THEATRE PLAYBILL OF FRANCE»
The workmanship of the artists who create the image and visual content of the performance in theatrical posters is the first meeting of the audience and the theater. What part of the artistic intention does the theatrical playbill take in the story about the performance itself, what artistic decisions accompany the creation of theatrical poster and how does the theater itself, its time and style appear on paper? Last years the festival presented the art of theater designers from Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland. This year as part of the project «French Focus» we’ll present an exhibition of theatre playbills of France.
