The Chuchundra Rat knows many stories and one of them tells about a small brave mongoose who protected the garden and his human friends from powerful snakes – Naga and Nagini. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi declared a great war on evil and became a real defender of the people’s house, bravely fought against snakes who decided to kill people and seize power over the garden. Among the wonderful tales of Rudyard Kipling, the story of the brave mongoose is one of the favorite children books, in which the smallest and bravest hero wins, the one who wasn’t afraid to oppose a strong enemy and won in the name of friendship, despite the harsh law of the jungle.
