The performance is called «Birds», because it is based on the Russian folktales, where the plot is connected to the birds. Lyrical, deep and at the same time funny legends about truth, the power of good, about evil, humility, laws and life cycles of this fairy tale are connected by live singing of the ensemble.

The director Maria Romanova: «There are lullabies as well as nanny’s songs in our play, we weave the cloth associated with marriage, with birth and bringing up of little children, we twist the wheel of life, we show what a family is for a person, how it is important and powerful. After all, the sacred meanings associated with existence lay in the basis of all these tales, and the natural rhythms on which our great-grandmothers grew up lay in the narration itself and in the songs. As they say, children weren’t brought up earlier; their parents cherished them, encouraging on the biorhythms of the earth, on health and good luck».

The performance is the winner of the Russian National Theater Award «Harlequin» — 2018 in five nominations (female role — Sofia Nikiforova, plastic design, music, art director and costume designer).
