Imagine that this is 1519 and you travel to islands of spices on board of Magellan’s ships. How fascinating it is to walk along a new continent following the scent of folk songs, melodies and legends of Latin America. A concert-performance is a theatre and musical journey to the bright world of Latin America’s music.

You will hear songs in Spanish and Portuguese, stories in French and Russian. This is a great journey through music. Explorers and adventurers travel through sea with music. The guitar is the voice of the distant homeland and its strings keep songs of love and sorrow, ballads and stirring melodies. Beyond the far sea on a new continent, the guitar is the voice of pioneers, the first instrument to speak about first songs from the newfound land. One guitar has new voices that touch every heart and tell the tale of the connection between countries through music.



• «The dragonfly’s roar» (Le Rugissement De La Libellule) has been established in Nanterre (France) in 2002. The theatre company has worked both on classic texts (Molière’s “The Misanthrope”, Georg Büchner’s “Danton’s Death”…) and contemporary plays (Liubomir Simovic’s “Chopalovic’s travelling theatre”, Laurent Labruyère’s “The Whale”…). The dragonfly’s roar has been working in Veliki Novgorod for almost one month in 2005 writing and rehearsing the play, “Novgorod – east exit”, which has been played about one hundred times in different French cities since then (especially during the international theatre festival in Avignon in 2007). The company has already participed in Veliki Novgorod’s Kingfestival in 2011 performing Vladimir Mayakovski’s «Cloud in pants».
