BREST PUPPET THEATRE, HONORED COLLECTIVE OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS
«Kholstomer. Horse Story»
Theatre presents the story of an amazing horse — Kholstomer. Born from two breeding horses, he was also supposed to become a chosen one, but he becomes an outcast — his suit failed, the piebald color of the skin, which, according to the breeders, testifies to the degeneration of the breed. Foal is sterilized. «Well, ugly!» — to this accompaniment of voices, his life path begins. And although nature endowed the piebald gelding with the talent of an excellent horse, who is destined to win at the races, the stamp of rejection does not leave him. But despite this, Horse loves his changing masters, indifferent, in essence, to his fate, living in a world of false values. Therefore, they are faceless: in front of us is only the valiant uniform of a hussar and the busty corset of his mistress, and the gray sweatshirts of the grooms. Only the horse remains the owner of an honest, faithful heart… Horse.
